About me

Sophie Bower  Dip. ITEC , BTEC Professional Diploma

I trained in Central London with the highly regarded Clare Maxwell-Hudson in 2006, having come from a background in publishing.

I had always been interested in health and well being, and had a particular interest  in massage. Having spent a few years chained to a computer,  my colleagues and I appreciated the need for massage and stress reduction.

My passion is to help others  achieve greater health and well being and I get enormous satisfaction from seeing my clients leave a treatment feeling physically, and mentally more balanced.

My thirst for knowledge continued and in 2007 I completed a BTEC in Sports Injuries and Massage at St Thomas’ Hospital in Central London.

Many clients come for a treatment having injured themselves and I am always keen to help them.  I am continually developing my knowledge and skills and plan to add to my qualifications and thus additional treatments.

Too many people go through their lives accepting aches and pains without seeking treatment, but it is never too late to get help.  Massage can alleviate both recent and long term physical conditions.

In addition, psychological benefits can be gained by allowing the client to relax completely, and switch off from daily stresses and worries. From personal experience, one client began her road to recovery from severe depression by undergoing a regular course of treatments.

Each client’s needs are met by tailoring the treatment, having discussed their requirements.

I operate from several locations both in West London and Oxford, and can offer home visits.
